Dying for Julia

Dying for Julia is an experimental shoegaze band from Minneapolis, Minnesota. The band consists of Lucine Brundieck and Molly Phillips on guitar/vocals, Isabel Hawkinson on drums, and Anders Brundieck on bass guitar. Originally formed in 2024 by Lucine, they began playing shows in the Summer of '25 after Molly and Bel joined the band, with their first show being the Anita Velveeta Pink Place Residency. Since then, they've played many shows in the local scene, including Pilllar Forum's Rage & Reset festival in March of this year. Dying for Julia is more than a band, however. A collaborative art project telling a horror narrative of a doomed romance between two girls, the art and music creates a conceptual world larger than itself.
