Rochelle Jordan

Rochelle Jordan 4/23

On April 23rd, 2026, the First Avenue Fine Line in downtown Minneapolis presented headliner Rochelle Jordan and opener, DJ Chrysalis. Rochelle Jordan is a UK-born, Toronto-based, Jamaican-British singer who sets venues ablaze in combining house beats, RnB vocals, and jazz influences. After the original March 15th date was moved due to inclement weather, crowds filled the venue for her final stop on the Through the Wall tour in North America. They attract a young, vibrant audience and harbor a safe, welcoming space that is everything great about the house music scene in the Twin Cities.

DJ Chrysalis is an L.A.-based artist who opened the concert with high-energy music, including samples from Janet Jackson and Frank Ocean. She heats the crowd with EDM over a booming base throughout the venue. Skillful crowdwork is shown as she gets the whole crowd moving to her rhythm. The immersive strobe, atmospheric, and flashing lightwork sets the whole crowd bouncing.

Rochelle Jordan makes her entrance as her silhouette is suddenly backlit and her voice begins to float over the crowd. She enthralls with a wave of her arm as she accompanies her music with iconic posing and voguing. Rochelle Jordan’s stage presence is incredible; her smooth RnB vocals and futuristic style, as well as powerful 90’s shoulder silhouettes, she exemplifies elegance and stardom. Rochelle sang top hits like Ladida and Doing it Too, which showcased her melodic riffs. Everything about her show is glamorous, and she connects with everyone through great love and vibrational energy.

The audience chants for the encore, and Rochelle provides, with the exceptional talent and performance she has given throughout the whole concert, the song Lowkey from her debut album, 1021.
