Wolf Alice

Wolf Alice 9/27

The show took place at First Avenue in downtown Minneapolis area. Their opener was Willy Mason. It was a blend of folk and indie rock. It was a great performance to start the night, and their drummer had these fun tambourines attached to their drum kit that were used in some of the more folk songs.

When Wolf Alice came on, the energy was amazing! Each band member was so distinct, and they all stayed in their sections of the stage for most of the show. Everyone was included in their vocals for most of the songs, and their band chemistry was very evident. Their lead singer, Ellie Rowsell, felt so powerful on stage. Her vocal range was insane, and some of their rock music reminded me of Alanis Morissette. The lighting done for the show was one of the best parts. Each song felt different from the next, and the lighting would go along so well with every vibe. Their energy was amazing, and all of the band members were incredible.

I seriously enjoyed this show. I would 100% go again now, knowing more music from the band. I would recommend this show to anyone because it really is just fun to watch them perform with much energy they put into it.
