The latest album from The Altons, “Heartache in Room 14,” is a soulful, multilingual exploration of putting the effort into love, and of course, heartache. This jazz and Latin soul-influenced project is especially artful through its use of strings and vintage-inspired production, rounding out to be a warm listen. The sound practically wraps itself around you, with swirling psychedelic guitar and tasteful organ. “Heartache in Room 14” is a completely delicious listen.
